Melissa Ohden is the Founder and Director of The Abortion Survivors Network, the only advocacy organization for abortion survivors and their families worldwide. She is a Master’s level prepared Social Worker and the author of the award winning book featuring her life story, "You Carried Me: A Daughter's Memoir" and most recently, the co-author of "Abortion Survivors Break Their Silence."
Melissa is a frequent contributor to pro-life and conservative news outlets and a regular guest on radio and television programs around the world. Although Melissa has a heart for providing help and hope to all impacted by abortion, she also strives to humanize the unborn and abortion survivors through activism. She has testified before Congressional committees numerous times.
Melissa and her family reside in Kansas City, Missouri.

VIP reception ticketholders will meet Melissa Ohden in person before the Focus on Life dinner on September 16. You may take a picture with her, and will also receive a signed copy of Ohden's book, "You Carried Me, A Daughter's Memoir."
A VIP Reception/Dinner ticket is a combination ticket, for both the VIP reception from 4:45 to 5:30 p.m. and the Focus of Life Dinner at 7:00 p.m., both held on Tuesday, September 16 at the Mirage Banquet Center in Clinton Township.
Combination Ticket: VIP Reception and FOL Dinner: $150
VIP Reception/Dinner Ticketholders will receive:
- VIP Reception Pass for Melissa Ohden Meet and Greet, with appetizers and open bar.
- VIP Dinner seating at the Focus on Life Dinner.
- A signed copy of Melissa Ohden’s book, “You Carried Me, A Daughter’s Memoir.”

Table captains who purchase a VIP Table package will receive the following:
- VIP Dinner Table of 10, located in front of the speaker podium. You and your guests will enjoy the best view of the speaker during the Focus on Life Dinner.
- Two VIP Reception tickets. Two guests will have tickets to attend the VIP Reception, and each will received a signed copy of Melissa Ohden’s book.
