Vote YES on abortion reporting bills (H.B.s 5201, 5202, & 5203)

Update on the Prolife/Anti-life bills Introduced for the 2023-2024 session

  •  On November 4th, House bills 5201-5203 were introduced in the Michigan House of Representatives to restore abortion reporting and abortion complication reporting in Michigan, an essential step forward in ensuring women do not go into abortion blind. Women have a right to know accurate information about the procedure they are considering undergoing or medicine they are considering taking. This begins with data that demonstrates associated safety or risk. We know the life an unborn child is lost, and now the dangers to women are being shielded from the public.

  • If passed, these bills would restore laws Michigan had for over four decades that required the reporting on the number and type of abortions, as well as abortion complications in the state of Michigan. The laws were repealed by radical pro-abortion lawmakers in the previous session, ending decades of oversight and transparency. This repeal came during the time that the same group of lawmakers voted to completely deregulate the abortion industry. What we found in the state's final 2024 abortion report was a 38% spike in the number of abortion complications!

  • Join us in supporting transparency and a woman's right to know.
