NOON March from the capitol to the Hall of Justice and back.  The march is a little over a mile on smooth, level ground.  Wheelchairs and strollers can be used during the march.

There is a bathroom on the Silver Sand buses, which may be used on the trip to and from Lansing.

There will be porta-potties dispersed along the corners of the Capitol grounds. Additionally, the State Capitol Building is open to guests and has a limited number of public bathrooms available.

    • Arrive at your bus departure location by 7:30 A.M.  We will leave promptly at 8:00 A.M.
    • We will travel in a Silver Sand charter bus with an onboard bathroom. Seating is first-come, first-served.
    • The pre-rally, rally, and the march are outdoor events.  Watch the weather reports and dress accordingly.  Wear comfortable shoes - participants will stand during the rally and walk about 1.2 miles during the march around the state capitol.
    • Water and snacks will be provided.  Bring a lunch for the return trip in a small private cooler or container small enough to fit under the seat in front of you.  There won't be an opportunity to buy food in the Lansing area.
    • You may bring a stroller or folding wheelchair, if needed.  They will be stored in the luggage compartment under the bus during the trip to and from Lansing.
    • If bringing an infant or toddler, bring a car seat or booster seat with you and buckle it on the seat next to you.  You must purchase a ticket for infants and toddlers.
    • RTL Macomb County Northwest is not responsible for your personal items (bags, electronic devices, umbrellas, etc.). You will not be able to access belongings left on the bus during the Rally and March for Life.
    • We will take a collection for the tip for the bus driver.

Mayra Rodriguez is the former director of 3 Planned Parenthood clinics, was Planned Parenthood’s 2016 ‘Employee of the Year’, and is a courageous whistle blower who won a 2019 wrongful termination lawsuit against Planned Parenthood, and an award of $3 M in damages.

During her 17 years with Planned Parenthood, Mayra witnessed critical safety and health-related violations including incomplete abortions, falsification of patient records, illegal conduct, unreported statutory rape, women severely injured by abortion, and high complication rates with a particular abortionist. Mayra’s reports of these incidents were met with harassment, hostility, and termination.

In a 2019 lawsuit against the abortion giant, Mayra proved that Planned Parenthood exploited her undocumented status, endangered women, paid women less than men, and hid narcotics in her desk to silence and intimidate her. After only 3 hours of deliberation, a predominantly pro-choice jury unanimously found Planned Parenthood guilty for terminating Mayra’s employment in retaliation for her whistle blowing activity.

Today, Mayra is a powerful advocate against abortion, a champion for women and the unborn, and is driven to expose the truth behind Planned Parenthood's dangerous practices. Mayra credits the faith of those praying on the sidewalk and the Divine Mercy of God for her reversion to the Catholic faith and for the strength it took to stand against the abortion Goliath - and win.

Map of Rally and March Locations

Our buses will drop off marchers near the state capitol in time for the rally.   The March will begin and end at the State Capitol. As in 2023, participants will proceed down the mall in the middle of the Capitol Complex toward the Michigan Hall of Justice, circle around the Memorial, and then return along the same walkway to conclude at the Capitol. People will be in place to guide the March.

    March for Life 2025 Hats
